Visibility

Visibility is all about ‘to see and to be seen’. People want to see and know what is happening around them and want to be confident that others see and know as well. See and be seen is to be understood broadly. It also involves ‘to hear and to be heard’ and ‘to know and to be known’. This has everything to do with accessibility, connectivity, and vitality as well as with the presence of lines of sight, lighting and ‘eyes on the street’.
